The author developed the Bullet System while in law school and used it exclusively to pass the California Bar Exam on her first try. She decided to copyright and market the System after receiving dozens of requests for her notes from:
- graduates who had already failed the Bar Exam once
- graduates who were committed to only taking it once, and
- law students preparing for finals.
She is also not averse to trying to make an honest buck for her considerable labors.
